# Email notes into Hjarni

A lot of what is worth keeping arrives by email, or ends up there because forwarding it to yourself was the fastest way to save it.

Every Pro account can now have a capture address. Mail sent to it becomes a note, normally moments after it arrives: subject as the title, body as the note, attachments up to 25 MB along with it, and a line in the note when a file was too large to bring. Because it lands as an ordinary note, a connected Claude or ChatGPT reads it like any other. Every one is tagged `email`, so "what came in this week" is one question away.

**Your first address is waiting on the page.** Open Folders, then Email addresses, and copy it. Save it as a contact and it autocompletes the next time you share something from your phone.

**Give a folder its own address.** Open the folder and press Email to this folder, and mail sent there lands filed. Add tags to an address and the notes arrive tagged too. Ten addresses per account, fifty messages a day each.

Team folders work the same way from the team page, on each member's own Pro account. An address writes as the person who created it, so only they can see the address itself; owners can see that it exists and revoke it.

**Treat an address like a password.** Anyone who knows one can add notes to that folder, so keep it out of public pages. Rotate an address or shut it off from the same page, and the notes it already created stay where they are.

[Open your Email addresses.](/email-addresses) The page is there on every account; minting an address is part of Pro.
