Hjarni Web Clipper for Chrome

The Hjarni Web Clipper is now live in the Chrome Web Store.

Click the toolbar icon on any page. The article lands in your Hjarni inbox as Markdown. Title, URL, body. No nav menus. No ads.

Why this exists

The best knowledge base is the one you actually save things to. Copy-paste works. But it drags in the cruft: nav menus, footers, share buttons. Cleaning that up by hand is the friction that stops you from saving anything.

The clipper does the cleaning for you. One click. Article out, Markdown in your inbox.

How it works

  1. Install the extension and pin the icon to your toolbar.
  2. On any article page, click the icon. A new tab opens at /clip with the title, URL, and body pre-filled.
  3. Adjust the folder or tags if you want. Hit save.

What you get

A note in your inbox. Article body as Markdown. Source URL attached. From there, ChatGPT and Claude read it like any other note. Ask "summarize the articles I clipped this week" and they have something to point at.

That's the loop. Read it. Clip it. Your AI uses it.

Install the Web Clipper.

Write once. You both remember.

Free to start. No credit card required.
